Mangawhai
Responded to Mangawhai for a motor vehicle that
had come off a gravel road. Two patients were in the vehicle
but only one patient was transported to Whangarei Hospital.
12.11 pm – HLN – Maungaturoto
Responded to
Maungaturoto for a male patient who had fallen 4 meters from
a stack of hay bales. He was transported to Whangarei
Hospital.
4.49 pm – HLN – Coromandel
Responded to
the Coromandel for a male patient with a medical condition.
He was transported to Waikato Hospital.
6.23 pm – HKZ
– Counties
Responded to Counties for a motor vehicle vs
motorbike accident. One male patient was transported to ACH
in a status 1 condition.

It remains to be seen if announcements today will better protect children, but the National Government is forgoing an opportunity to really help kids by ignoring the elephant in the room, which is poverty, Green Party Co-leader Metiria Turei says.
