Car v Power-pole. Diversions in Place.

Emergency services responded to a serious motor vehicle crash on Mt Albert Road, near the intersection of Mt Royal Avenue, Mt Albert.
A car has crashed into a power-pole and one of the three occupants was taken to hospital in a serious condition, status 1.
This persons condition has improved to status 4 and is due to be released from hospital shortly.
The Serious Crash Unit are at the scene and are investigating the crash.
Electrical workers are also on site, repairing the damaged power-pole.
Mt Albert Road will be closed for several hours and diversions are in place at the following locations.
(1) Mt Albert Road & Summit Drive.
(2) Mt Albert Road & Mt Royal Avenue.
Polcie advise all motorist to avoid the area and to take an alternative route until further notice.
