Road Fatality

Fatality crash.

At 3.00am this morning a single motor vehicle has crashed into a barrier, on State highway 1 by Valerie Cl intersection, Warkworth.  The male occupant of this vehicle has died as a result of injuries recieved.  Diversions are in place.  North bound traffic are diverted at Silverdale onto SH 16.  Southbound are diverted from Woodcocks onto SH 16.  It is expected the road will be open by 6.00am this morning.

Further road information will follow when available.

0555am update.  The road diversions are still in place and will be until approximately 0700am.
