Where to find Gisborne district election results
On
Election Day, Saturday 12 October 2013 two sets of results
will be released on Gisborne District Council’s website
www.gdc.govt.nz/election-results/.
Progress results will be released between 3pm - 4pm. Progress results include all votes in the system other than those received on Election Day morning (and in transit for processing) and special votes that require confirmation.
Preliminary results will be available around 9pm. Preliminary results include all votes in the system excluding special votes that require confirmation
The results available will be for the:
• Mayor
• Nine councillors representing the Gisborne ward
• One councillor representing the Matakaoa-Waiapu ward
• One councillor representing the Taruheru-Patutahi ward
• One councillor representing the Waipaoa ward
• Seven positions on the Tairawhiti District Health Board
In the Tawhiti-Uawa ward one councillor has been elected unopposed – Pat Seymour.
Official results will be published between 17
- 23 October.
