Suspicious
Death

Called to a serious
incident around 10am this morning.
Whananaki North
road. 30 mins north of Whangarei.
Information on what
occurred at the address was vague and police cordoned off
the area. Police are speaking to one male from the address.
A 36 year old man was confirmed dead at the scene.
At
this stage police are treating the scene as a potential
homicide.
Police are at the address and expect to
hold the address overnight while we complete our enquiries
to establish cause of death.
