Mikey Havoc To Headline Free Nelson Gig

New Zealand media personality and Radio Hauraki presenter Mikey Havoc is scheduled to perform a free gig at central Nelson bar 623 In The City

The national celebrity, who is widely recognised for his success as a radio DJ, television presenter and musician, was approached by Radio Hauraki’s Nelson-based sales and promotions team to perform for local fans while in Nelson this weekend.

Havoc says he is looking forward to entertaining the Nelson public.

“When I was asked to put on a gig in Nelson I jumped at the chance - I’m really looking forward to stepping in as DJ for the evening this Friday and meeting all the locals who come along,” says Havoc.

623 In The City owner Mike Graham says Havoc has a large following of supporters in Nelson.

“Mikey Havoc is very popular in Nelson and all throughout New Zealand, but he’s also a fantastic DJ, so we are rapt to have him guest DJ at 623 In The City and encourage local fans to come along to enjoy a great night out,” says Graham.

Havoc in the City is sponsored by Radio Hauraki and will take place at 623 In The City, 223 Hardy Street, Nelson, this Friday October 18 from 8.30pm (no entry fee).
