Fallen tree blocking SH22
Tue, 15/10/2013 - 4:36pm
Police and Fire are currently at on SH22 Karaka Road dealing with a large tree branch across the Road.
The tree is across the east bound lane on SH22 just east of the Pukekohe golf course.
The eastbound lane on SH22 for all traffic travelling towards Drury and the motorway is blocked. Therefore traffic travelling from Pukekohe will be diverted onto Glenbrook Road and then Charles Road, to be diverted onto SH22 via Blackbridge Road.
Waiuku traffic travelling towards Drury will also be diverted onto Charles Road to follow the diversions.
Traffic travelling from Drury to Pukekohe will be able to pass, however Police advise delays are likely and alternative routes should be used if possible over the next hour or so.
