Line up announced for region’s biggest Christmas concert

HUTT CITY COUNCIL NEWS RELEASE

20 NOVEMBER 2013

Line up announced for region’s biggest Christmas concert

Roger Fox Jazz Orchestra – a renowned big band featuring Wellington’s finest jazz talent – will headline this year’s Christmas in the Hutt extravaganza.

Well, other than Santa, because it’s really his show isn’t it?

The Roger Fox Jazz Orchestra and Santa will be joined by performers from a variety of local schools as well as a specially created children's choir.

Hosted by Classic Hit’s breakfast hosts Dave and Camille, Christmas in the Hutt is an all age’s extravaganza to be held on Saturday 7 December at Hutt Recreation Grounds.

“Kids and families are the focus of the event, says Duncan Chisholm, City Events Manager.

“All our many rides will be just $2 and we’ll have a range of food and drink available for purchase if families don’t bring their own picnic.”

Lower Hutt company Fused FX will end the show with their spectacular fireworks finale.
