Resurfacing works starting Monday along SH2 between Tanners Point Road and Tuapiro Road
Motorists are advised that resurfacing works will be undertaken on Monday
(16 December) along State Highway 2 between Tanners Point Road and just north of Tuapiro Road, delays are expected says the NZ Transport Agency.
The Transport Agency says a second coat of chipseal is being applied to approximately 500 metres of the highway between Tanners Point Road and Tuapiro Road, the work will be undertaken between 9.00am and 4.00pm to minimise disruption to traffic.
A temporary speed restriction of 30 km/h will be in place along with manual Stop/Go traffic management throughout the duration of the work which is expected to be completed by 4.00pm that day.
Motorists are asked to take extra care when driving through the area.
This work is weather dependent, and if wet, the work will be undertaken on the next suitable day.
The Transport Agency thanks motorists for their patience and ongoing co-operation while this work is being undertaken.
