"Fatal Crash - Car v Bus - Te Rapa Road, Forest
Lake, Hamilton City - National Alerts"
At about 4:40pm
this afternoon, emergency services responded to a car v bus
crash, at the intersection of Te Rapa Rd, Victoria St and
Forest Lake Rd, Hamilton City.
The two occupants of the
car sustained injuries. One was fatal and the other was
taken to Waikato Hospital, status 3.
Nobody on the bus
The Police Serious Crash and Commercial
Vehicle Investigation Units are attending and are
investigating the fatal crash.
Diversions have been put
in place around the affected area.
(1) Te Rapa Rd &
(2) Victoria St & Maeroa Rd.
advise all motorist to avoid the affected area and to take
an alternative route.
No further details will be released
until next of kin have been advised.
