2 car crash - State Highway 1 Brynderwyn

"2 car crash - State Highway 1 Brynderwyn - Northland"

Emergency Services are at the scene of a serious two car collision on State Highway One on the south side of the Brynderwyn Hill.

Three people have been injured, two seriously. SH1 is closed in both directions and diversions are in place as follows:

Southbound traffic: Waipu Gorge Road, Doctors Hill Road, SH12 and back to SH1.

Northbound traffic is diverted through Mangawhai and via the coastal route to Waipu.

The Northland Serious Crash unit will be investigating the crash
