Toddlers and adults in serious road accident

Police and Emergency services are presently at the scene of a vehicle crash on the Opotiki main bridge heading into Opotiki City. Four persons were in the vehicle including Two infants aged 1 and 2 years who are reported as critical.

Two adults are also in a serious condition from the same vehicle. The bridge road is passable, but the public are advised to expect delays. Serious Crash Unit are on scene.
