Overturned Lorry Blocks Motorway

Emergency services are attending an incident on the Auckland Motorway where a vehicle towing a trailer full of gravel has lost control and overturned resulting in very minor injuries. As a result 2 lanes of the SH1 Auckland Motorway are currently blocked while emergency services clear the road.

The blockage is SH1 south bound between the Mount Wellington Highway and Princes St offramps.

Police ask motorists to be patient with traffic delays and to take alternative routes if possible.
