Auckland motorway link re-opens after truck crash
The NZ Transport Agency advises drivers links on the
Southern and Southwestern Motorway interchange (State
Highways 1 and 20) at Manukau in Auckland south have
re-opened after a fatal truck crash earlier this
morning.
The truck crashed on the westbound flyover linking the Southern Motorway with the Southwestern. The Southern Motorway’s northbound off-ramp to Great South Road was also closed while the vehicle was removed.
The Transport Agency thanks drivers for their patience during the closure. It says people should continue to drive with care on the flyover while a safety guardrail damaged in the crash is repaired.
