Police trying to locate American tourist


West Coast Police are currently trying to locate an American tourist who is possibly tramping along the Heaphy Track.

Bob Kuhmann, aged 52yrs, entered New Zealand on the 5th April 2014 and was booked into several huts along the Heaphy Track between the 8th and 10th April. Inquiries reveal he has not stayed at any of the huts.

Mr Kuhmann had also booked accommodation in Karamea on the night of the 13th April, but failed to arrive.

Police are asking anyone who has been in contact with Mr Kuhmann, or has information as to his whereabouts to please contact the Greymouth Police, Ph 03 768 1600.
