Where is Richard? Not the usual bus passenger

Where is Richard? Not the usual bus passenger

Police have a warrant to arrest recidivist sex offender Richard Hona who is also wanted for breaching conditions of his intensive supervision following his release from prison just over three weeks ago.

The conditions forbid 44 year old Hona to travel on public transport but he has been observed masturbating on buses around several Auckland suburbs since his recent release.

Police have reports that he has been offending on buses that have travelled through Botany Downs, Auckland City, Ponsonby, Herne Bay, Pt Chevalier, Sandringham, Mt Eden, Newmarket, Mt Albert and St Lukes. It's possible he's travelled on the North Shore as well.

Hona is a light skinned Maori of thin to medium build and about 182cms tall (6ft). He has long black hair and acne scarring on both cheeks. He usually carries a khaki coloured backpack and wears a dark jacket and long pants.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts should call or txt Acting Sergeant Landon Pearce on 021 191 2850 or contact Police on 111.

Can the two surviving Maori Party MPs (one electorate, one list) credibly work together with the old firebrand who split up the group years ago, and still hope to rekindle some of that same old magic? More>>
