State Highway 2 night time works
State Highway 2 – Intersection of Hewletts Road and Totara Street night time works
Motorists are advised that major road resurfacing work will take place at the SH2 / Hewletts Road intersection into Totara Street. The work to the right turn bay will start 6pm tonight, Tuesday 13 May, and continue for two nights.
The road will remain open but with modified traffic signal phasings between 6pm and 6am on both Tuesday 13 May and Wednesday 14 May nights.
This work is weather dependent and if wet will be carried out on the next suitable day.
Motorists are advised to drive with care and to expect delays whilst this traffic management is in place. The Transport Agency wishes to thank drivers for their patience and Tauranga City Council for their cooperation, while these works are being done.
