Witnesses to Assault Sought

Hamilton Police would like to alert people, specifically woman walking or exercising around the Hamilton Lake walkways and reserve area.

Between 11am and midday on Thursday 22nd May 2014 a woman was approached by a male within the grounds of Hamilton Lake reserve.

The conduct and conversation from this man made her feel uncomfortable and she walked away.
This male followed her and grabbed at her. He tried to drag her behind a shed but he ran off when a passer by intervened.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to contact Hamilton Police on 07 858 6200
