Baby's welfare of concern

Baby's welfare of concern

Thursday, 29 May 2014 - 11:28am

Waitakere Police and Child Youth and Family continue to have concerns for the welfare of 10 month-old Bailey Cribb. It is believed Bailey's biological mother, Nikki Cribb, has Bailey in her care and is actively avoiding authorities.

Child Youth and Family have lawful custody of Bailey.

Nikki is believed to have travelled out of Auckland to avoid detection and is now thought to be in the Hamilton area. There is a warrant for her arrest for breaching supervision conditions.

Police would like to remind anyone who is actively assisting Ms Cribb to avoid detection that they may be committing a criminal offence. Anyone with information is urged to contact Waitakere Police on 09 839 0600 or Child, Youth and Family on 0508 326 459.

Information can also be given anonymously to the organisation Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
