Body found in Whangarei

National Alerts

Police were called to a Whangarei central location this morning after the body of a man was found.

The man, aged 60 years, was found in a creek between First and Second Avenues about 9 .30am.

There are no suspicious circumstances, but police are carrying out inquiries to determine the cause of death. A post mortem will be carried out in Auckland tomorrow.
