Cell phone may be crucial to missing man's whereabouts
The team
investigating the disappearance of Opunake man Aaron Roigard
are seeking the whereabouts of his cell phone in the hope
that it may lead to locating him.
It is believed Aaron had his cell phone on him when he was last seen but its current whereabouts are unknown.
It is described as a Samsung flip top cell phone encased in a black leather pouch.
Detective Senior Sergeant Blair Burnett says: "We want to locate Aaron's phone as it could provide us with avenues of inquiry that ultimately could lead us to Aaron. We remain focused and determined in locating Aaron and returning him to his family."
The investigation team are continuing with their inquiries, completing area canvasses and are building a picture of the circumstances leading up to Aaron's disappearance.
"We are still seeking any information or sightings of the green/blue Holden Commodore motor vehicle and of Aaron since he went missing on Monday the 2nd June, 2014," says Detective Senior Sergeant Burnett.
