Coromandel Weather Update #12

Coromandel Weather Update #12

Reports we're receiving this morning is that the rain has abated and the only road closure is further south at Te Aroha.

Powerco are telling us they're still dealing with some faults at Opoutere and Whangamata.

The Transport Authority says there's still flooding between Rawhiti Rd on SH26 near Te Aroha and the road is closed.

Please avoid the area if possible and take extra care on the roads.
The Metservice Rain Radar is showing that it's clearing around the Coromandel. As at 23.15pm last night the Pinnacles in the Kauaeranga Catchment had 51.5mm of rain in the past 24 hours

Check out the latest rain radar here.
