SH 47 closed due to ice - SH 47 between Turangi & Tongariro - Bay of
Plenty

State Highway 47 between Turangi and Tongariro will be closed by Police

Road conditions are are particularly bad with large stretches of the highway effected by ice.

Road Crews have spread grit on the road, however this has not been effective.

The road will be closed until conditions change
