Kapiti Run for Youth open for registration

Kapiti Run for Youth open for registration

Registrations for groups and individuals to take part in the Web Genius Kapiti Run for Youth are open and a toolkit has been developed to help support all fundraisers. This toolkit has been designed to help with planning and provides some useful tips to really maximise the fundraising experience when participating in Kapiti Run for Youth.

“We are working hard behind the scenes right now with the view to raising more money than what we did last year, which was $14,000. Youth Quest as our main benefactor really appreciates the big cheque we give them at the end of the event as it goes someway to help support their boys mentoring programme”, says Richard Calkin of Web Genius.

Richard goes on to say, “that we know that Kapiti Youth Support has also registered as a Fundraising Partner again this year, so we are really looking forward to being able to handover a good sized cheque to them later this year. They received more than $1,000 last year”.

“We really want everyone that participates to have a really neat time while running or walking the beautiful Kapiti coastline, says Terry Poko of Youth Quest. Youth Quest will be entering a team of boys and mentors.

There are four great options to choose from: 12km walk, 6km walk, 12km run and a 6km run. The date for the event is Sunday 2 November 2014. Go to www.kapitirunforyouth.co.nz to register – there is a $20 qualifying fee that can be raised through sponsorship.
