Police Seek Help In Locating Stolen Vehicle

Waikato Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle stolen in the small settlement of Kihikihi south of Te Awamutu this morning.

Shift manager, Senior Sergeant Andrew O’Reilly, said the silver 2003 Honda Accord station wagon, registration number GJE327, was taken from a Whitmore St address about 9.15am .

“The Honda has a white sticker with the words possibly ‘Train Station” on its rear window and anyone who sees the car is urged to contact Police immediately.

“As CIB detectives work to establish just what has occurred we are warning members of the public who may see the car not to approach it or its occupants but instead to ring 111.”

Mr O’Reilly said alternatively, information can be left with the independent Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
