Warrants issued for wanted man

Warrants issued for wanted man


Police have a number of warrants for the arrest of wanted man Shane DIBBEN, 24, and are seeking information from the public as to his whereabouts.

Warrants to arrest have been issued for DIBBEN for six counts of Unlawful Sexual Connection; one count of Aggravated Assault and one count of Assault with Intent to Injure. DIBBEN is also in breach of his bail conditions.

He is known to have been on the West Coast as recently as Friday; however he may be attempting to leave the area and is actively avoiding Police.

DIBBEN does not own a car or hold a driver's licence.

He is European about 173cm tall, of slim build and has a distinctive spider web tattoo under his right eye.

Police consider DIBBEN to be dangerous are advising the pubic not to approach him. He is believed to be in possession of a knife.

Anyone with information that may assist in locating DIBBEN should call Greymouth Police Ph 768 1600. Information can also be given anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers Ph 0800 555 111.
