Rimutuka Hill - High Winds

High winds are creating extreme
conditions on the Rimutuka Hill.
Emergency services have
already attended one incident where trailer was flipped over
while being towed over the hill (nil injuries).
stage it is considered marginal for highsided vehicles and
motorbikes to cross this hill. Police and NZTA are advising
against these vehicles using the Rimutuka Road.
