Auckland Children's Groups: Do You Need a Helping Hand?

Do You Need a Helping Hand?

For Everyone Charitable Foundation and Westpac offer to help children’s community groups on November 20th

For Everyone Charitable Foundation (FECF) helps fund small projects in communities around New Zealand – projects that are often overlooked, but mean a great deal to the people involved!

Do you know of a children’s community group or school that could use some support? Next month, FECF is teaming up with The Westpac Youth Network to give four community organisations a big helping hand!

FECF and Westpac will contribute funding and resources to support a project that the successful community groups are doing, and Westpac is also supplying 65 volunteers to help out with the projects for one day - November 20th.

November 20th is Universal Children’s Day, so FECF will be selecting groups that focus on supporting children or teenagers in some way.

The options are endless! It could be: building a playground or repainting buildings for a school; planting trees; helping out on a sports day; cooking up a storm to supply lunch for a group of kids that are in need of a good meal; or anything else you can think of!

The criteria are that the project is for a community group or school, that it supports people under the age of 20 in Auckland, and that the group can make use of the help on November 20.

Apply for this awesome opportunity at www.foreveryone.org.nz. Entries close November 10th, and the selected organisations will be notified on the 12th.

ABOUT FOR EVERYONE CHARITABLE FOUNDATION:

For Everyone Charitable Foundation was set up by Richie McCaw, Dan Carter and Ali Williams, and it helps fund small community projects that cost $5000 or less, which can be difficult to find funding for elsewhere. FECF has helped fund more than 90 projects since it started in 2009, and has partnered with Westpac to increase the number of New Zealanders and communities it can reach.

Funding for grants is generated through a percentage of sales from For Everyone bottled water; the charity single Song For Everyone; as well as sponsorships, donations and events.

FECF can also help assist community projects through their volunteer network that can provide the expertise, muscle, skills, tools, and machinery to get certain projects completed.

Visit www.foreveryone.org.nz for more information including application guidelines, completing an electronic grant proposal form, and ways you can help the Foundation.
