Free Friday bus for Garden Art Festival Expo

Free Friday bus for Garden Art Festival Expo

12 November 2014

A free shuttle bus will help people get from downtown Tauranga to the Garden Art Festival Lakes Expo Pavilion, next Friday 21 November.

“We’ve created a fabulous festival hub at The Lakes this year but wanted to make sure that people who have previously enjoyed festival events in the city, don’t miss out due to the new location,” said Festival Director John Beech.

The shuttle bus will depart from outside the Tauranga City Library on Willow Street at 8.30am and travel continuously between there and The Lakes Pavilion, via Cameron Road, throughout the day. The last bus will depart The Lakes Pavilion at 5.00pm. Timetable details are available at www.gardenandartfest.co.nz/lakes-expo

The free bus is being provided by Bay of Plenty Regional Council. Regional Council staff will also be on site at The Lakes Expo Pavilion from Friday 21 to Sunday 23 November, to provide information to festival-goers about weed control and the Council’s work to care for land and water in the Tauranga Harbour and its catchment.
