The Devonport-Takapuna, Kaipātiki, Upper Harbour and East Coast Bays Subdivision Local Board Funding Sub-committee has confirmed the recipients of this year’s Community Facility Development Fund.

Sub-committee chair Margaret Miles says local communities benefit from all of the groups receiving funding.
“The organisations we are supporting have incredibly important roles in our neighbourhoods,” she says.
“We are pleased to be able to support them to keep delivering excellent services.
“This year the applications added up to over $3 million and we have to ensure we are funding groups that help make the biggest difference in our communities.”
The fund provides financial support to not-for-profit organisations undertaking asset development work. Developments with a total project value of $30,000 or more are able to seek support from this fund. This support will assist providing built infrastructure in the North Shore’s community facility network.
The sub-committee also granted $208,085 of funding from its Strengthening Communities Fund to a range of organisations.
