Reports of damage by BB gun in Christchurh

"Police investigate reports of damage caused by BB gun in Christchurch"

Canterbury Police are investigating reports of a BB gun being fired from a dark coloured four-door saloon car at parked cars and bus shelters between 10pm and 11.30pm in the Linwood and Riccarton areas on 16 November 2014.

Police ask anyone who may have seen this car in these areas or witnessed these incidents to contact them on 03 364 7400 and select option 5 to speak to an operator.

Police also encourage anyone in the Christchurch area, whose car/property has damage consistent with that caused by a BB gun, to report it by calling 03 363 7400, selecting option 5 and asking for the Crime Reporting Line.

Information can also be provided anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
