Driver of silver car sought by police

Police looking for driver of silver car to assist with homicide investigation

Police investigating the death of 32 year old Matthew Greenslade are looking to identify and locate the driver of a silver vehicle who may be able to assist with enquiries.

The vehicle picked up a man and a woman at about 7:54am on Tuesday 18 November from Caltex on Elliot Street, Papakura and took them to a nearby address.

This person also lent the couple a petrol can to use.

“We ask that this person come forward to Police to assist with the investigation,” says Detective Senior Sergeant Aaron Proctor. “Identifying this person will allow us to better piece together the events that followed the death of Mr Greenslade.”

Anyone with any information relevant to the investigation can contact the investigation team on 0508 422 443. Information can be provided anonymously to the organisation Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

A 38 year old man has been charged with Mr Greenslade’s murder.
