"Two properties searched for man Wanted to Arrest"

Canterbury Police including the Armed Offenders Squad (AOS), Police Dogs and Handlers have searched two properties today (27 November 2014) for a 35 year old man with outstanding warrants. AOS attended and secured both addresses as Police believed there was potential for a firearm to have been at the properties.

At approximately 6.30am this morning Police visited an address in Wigram. The man wasn’t located so at1.30pm Police cordoned off a property in Kaiapoi which was searched at approximately 3.45pm. Loud bangs in the area at the time of the search was gas being deployed by AOS to secure and clear the property. Fire Service and Ambulance were in attendance at the Kaiapoi address as a standard precaution. The man wasn’t located at the second property.

Police investigations are continuing.

Christopher David ROCHE (sometimes also known as Kristian GLANVILLE ) is a 35 year old European, of medium build and approximately 187cm tall.
