Speed restrictions and possible delays on SH36 in December

Speed restrictions and possible delays on SH36 in December

The NZ Transport Agency advises motorists to expect short delays when travelling on State Highway 36 (SH36) between Tauranga and Rotorua in December.

Contractors will be working on a 300 metre stretch of highway between Taumata Road (south) and Mangatoi Road, from December 1 until December 8.

Stop/go traffic management and a speed limit of 30km/h will be in place during the road maintenance works and delays of up to five minutes are possible

The Transport Agency apologises in advance for any inconvenience and thanks motorists for their patience and understanding while the works are underway.
