Whangarei Youth Awards tickets for big event

Whangarei Youth Awards tickets for big event

Tickets are on sale now for the Whangarei Youth Awards Presentation Evening, with limited numbers available for public purchase.

The Presentation Evening will be held at 6.30pm on Wednesday 10 December in the Level 2 Lounge, Toll Stadium.

The Evening will include speeches from Her Worship the Mayor Sheryl Mai and Youth Advisory Group Members, along with youth musical performances, a light dinner, and the presentation of the Awards themselves.

Tickets are $10 and include a complementary non-alcoholic drink at the Evening. They can be purchased from the Whangarei District Council Reception Desk in Forum North.

“This event has been a long time in the making, and we’re delighted to be able to offer tickets to the public, and we hope to see as many people as possible at the event supporting and recognising the great work young people do in the Whangarei District,” says YAG Chairman Brad Olsen.

“We’re especially keen to get other young people along for a fun night with some amazing local musical talent taking the stage, some fantastic food and a great atmosphere.”

The Awards, organised by the WDC Youth Advisory Group, have been funded from the former Whangarei District Council school scholarship fund, in an effort to better recognise the achievement of Whangarei’s youth community.
