The Built Heritage Incentive Fund helps conserve, restore, protect and care Wellington's heritage-listed buildings and objects. It is one of a range of Council initiatives to increase earthquake safety in Wellington. The next round of applications is open now and closes on 20 March 2015.

Councillor Iona Pannett, the Council’s Buildings Portfolio Leader, says, “The work that is being put into these heritage buildings is fantastic. Preserving Wellington’s heritage character is incredibly important and the Council is glad to be able to contribute by working with the building owners to ensure these buildings are able to remain standing.”
