Cave Terrace closed after crash - Redcliffs

Emergency services were alerted to a single vehicle crash on Cave Terrace in Redcliffs shortly before 8am this morning. Cave Terrace is currently closed and diversions are in place.

Initial reports are that a truck has veered off the road and into the garden of road-side property. As a result power has been turned off in the area. The driver and lone occupant is being assessed at the scene but managed to get out of the truck unaided.

Police investigations into the crash are continuing.

Heavy vehicle lifting equipment is on route to the scene. Canterbury Police’s Commercial Vehicle Investigation Unit (CVIU) are also on route.

There are no further details available at this time and Police urge the public to avoid the area where possible.
