Last days to post your vote

From Thursday 5 February Palmerston North residents wishing to vote in the Mayoral by-election will need to deliver their voting forms to Council in order for them to count.

Any voting forms put in the post from 5 February risk not arriving at Election Services in Auckland, who are carrying out the counting of votes.

“If you haven’t yet sent in your voting forms, you can still deliver them to the Palmerston North City Council before midday on 10 February” says Dr. John Annabell, Electoral Officer.

An after-hours delivery box is also available at the top of the steps adjacent to The Square underpass.

“Delivering your voting forms to Council from 5 February is the only way you can be sure that your forms will be delivered and your vote counted,” Dr. Annabell said.
