4 February 2015 | NZ Transport Agency - Auckland

Auckland motorists urged to take extreme care driving home tonight

The NZ Transport Agency is urging Auckland motorists to take extreme care driving home tonight with four crashes having been reported in the last two hours.

A bus has crashed on Whangaparaoa Road and is blocking the road; there has been a five-car crash southbound on the Northern Motorway near Esmonde Road; and single vehicle crashes at both Matakana and Titirangi.

With today’s wet weather, motorists are being asked to slow down, drive to the conditions, put their lights on and be patient as there will be delays with the crashes and weather conditions.
