Council proposes changes to Cemetery Bylaw
Our Cemeteries Bylaw is being reviewed to align with current industry standards.
The new draft Cemeteries Bylaw has updates on casket sizes, plot pre-purchase, types of monuments and memorials, and clarity on a number of other issues which were not covered in the 2007 bylaw.
It also makes clear the different services each cemetery in the district provides.
