Missing Person Alert - Stokes Valley - Lower Hutt - Wellington

Police are seeking information from the public as to the whereabouts of Mr Allan Ross – 71 years of age from Brown Owl, Upper Hutt.

Mr Ross suffers from Dementia & Parkinsons, and was last seen at about 1.00pm this afternoon in the vicinity of the Caltex Service Station at the entrance to Stokes Valley.

He was last wearing dark navy blue polo shirt, black t-shirt underneath, black knee length cotton pants with thin lines on them, one white sock and one white striped sock & grey walking shoes.

Police have concerns for his well-being as he has not eaten since breakfast, and the weather is rapidly deteriorating.

He is known to frequent the Hutt Riverbed & associated walking tracks along the river. Police Search & Rescue (SAR) are mobilising to assist in the search for Mr Ross. If anyone has any information, please contact Wellington Police on 04 381 2000 or 111 quoting reference P020352227
