Police hunt for offender in Manawatu


Police are currently searching for an offender in the vicinity of Vinegar Hill reserve in Manawatu.

Motorists travelling along State Highway One are cautioned against picking up any hitch hikers or pedrestrians between Hunterville in the south and Ohingaiti in the north.

Cordons are in place along State Highway 54 and motorists are asked to avoid this stretch of road.

Anyone observing a male cauc, 160cms tall travelling alone on foot in the area is asked to call Police on 111.
