Body found beside river - Huntly
The body of a 67 year old man was found in the water at the edge the Waikato River in Huntly this morning.
The man was found just before 8am on the riverside at Harris Street Huntly. CPR was commenced but the man could not be revived.
Police are at the scene and will be conducting an enquiry on behalf of the coroner.
Details of the man will not be released until he has been formally identified and next of kin advised.
