Concerns for safety of elderly driver

Police have concerns for the safety of an 85 year old man missing from Napier since 7am Tuesday.

The man is deaf, has medical issues and suffers from memory loss. He was last seen in Te Puke at about 8:30 pm tonight when obtained petrol from a service station and drove South on State Highway two. Police tried unsuccessfully to locate him.

When last seen he seemed disorientated. The man is driving a 2007 Silver Suzuki Jimny SUV registration number DZG891. He is described as 85 years old, 155cm (5Ft2) tall, balding an dwearing a black Puffa jacket an ddark track pants. Any one who has seen this gentleman is asked to call the police urgently.
