Road Closure - State Highway 1 near Templeton - Canterbury
As a result of a car crash on SH 1 between Templeton and Rolleston at 0130hrs this morning a power pole beside SH 1 has been brought down. The pole and lines are across SH 1 and Orion advise it will take sometime to repair. As a result of this the road is closed until the repairs are carried out. There is a diversion in place between Curraghs Road and Dawsons Road using Jones Road. One person was taken to ChCh Hospital as a result of the crash.
