Our Long Term Plan submission period resulted in 567 submissions over the four documents, with everyone's submissions now available online for you to read.

This year, we had five submissions on our Development Contributions Policy, 41 submissions on our Rates Remissions Policy, 174 on our Revenue and Financing Policy, and 347 on the overall Long Term Plan consultation document.

If you want to read any or all of the individual submissions, go to http://haveyoursay-tcdc.objective.com/ and click on the submissions you want to see. You will see the name of each person who made the submission, as well as all the answers that person gave to the questions. You can also download the full document to your computer or mobile device to read at your leisure.

Hearings will be held in Whitianga and Thames the week after ANZAC day. The locations have been chosen based on the numbers of submitters and the places they live. Community Boards will then have special meetings to allow their input into the deliberations process and Council will make final decisions in the middle of May.

• Tuesday 28 April, 9am at Whitianga in the Mercury Bay Board Room.

• Wednesday 29 April, 9am at Thames in the Council Chambers.
•
There is also a backup overflow day on Thursday 30 April at Thames in the Council Chambers from9am if needed.

Deliberations

Council's final deliberations will be held in the Council Chambers in Thames on Wednesday 13 Maythrough to Friday 15 May.

Final release

The final Long Term Plan for 2015-2025 will be out in the last week of June.
