Police hunt for Robert Austin

Robert Austin wanted to arrest in relation to serious assault at Ti Point Wharf



Rodney Police are looking for Robert Eric AUSTIN, who is wanted in relation to a serious assault against two Korean fishermen, at the Ti Point wharf, just before Easter.

There is a warrant for the 37 year-old’s arrest, on charges of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, and injuring with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

Robert AUSTIN has links to the Warkworth and Wellsford areas, but has associates in Whangarei and King Country.

He is aware that Police are looking for him.

Another man has already been charged in relation to the incident. He is currently before the courts and is the subject of several suppression orders.
Robert AUSTIN is considered dangerous and should not be approached. If you see him or know where he is, please call 111 immediately.
