Canterbury Police are searching for the driver of a grey Nissan Skyline after they fled the scene of a crash on foot at around 10.47am this morning (22 April 2015) in the St Martins area of Christchurch.
The driver was signalled to stop by Police as they drove along Cashmere Road shortly after 10.45am this morning due to the manner of driving.
A short pursuit was abandoned and the fleeing vehicle later collided at low speed with a parked car at around 10.47am on Tennyson Street. The driver fled the scene on foot and was seen climbing over roofs and fences.
Cordons have been established in the area while Canterbury Police Officers, Dogs and Handlers search for the fleeing driver.
