Police are investigating how a 45 year old male sustained serious injuries in Titahi Bay last night. The male sought assistance from the occupants at an address on Main Road, Titahi Bay, shortly after 11.00 pm Saturday night.
He
was then taken to Wellington Hospital with serious head
injuries.
He has been admitted and remains in a serious but stable condition.
Detective Senior Sergeant Mike Sears says “We are still attempting to establish his movements last night.
It appears he sustained his injuries before arriving alone at this address.
He was not known to the occupants of the house". Due to his injuries Police have not yet been able to speak to him.” Police urge anyone with information in relation to this event to please contact the Wellington District Crime Squad on (04) 381 2077.
