36 year-old arrested following Belmont pursuit
Waitemata Police have arrested a 36 year-old Northland man in relation to this morning’s pursuit which ended in the North Shore suburb of Belmont.
At around 4pm this afternoon, the occupants of a Belmont property returned home to find an unknown man asleep in their home.
Police were called and officers went to the home immediately, where the man was still asleep.
He was woken up and arrested and will appear in the North Shore District Court tomorrow morning, where he will face a series of serious charges in relation to this morning’s events.
